Lauren and Garrett in NYC!

My best friend and roommate from Baylor. Lauren Elizabeth Sellers Wolter, recently made the trip to New York with her husband Garrett, both of them for the first time. Before they arrived I created a tentative itinerary for them with many different options for daytime activities. I actually typed this extensive document up and sent it to them over email for their perusal. I hate to brag, but I must admit that I am a pretty good tour guide. Needless to say, Lauren and Garrett both had a fantastic time and packed their days full of good food and lots of culture. They ended up staying with Garrett's cousin and his wife who is doing her residency in anesthetesia in Hell's Kitchen on the West side. The three of us managed to schedule several meals together, a Broadway show, and even a tour of my fantastic middle school in Washington Heights. I am so glad they were able to come and visit. I think, more than anything else, I just enjoyed talking with the two of them and giving Lauren an big hug (I hadn't seen her in almost a year!).
