Wonderful, fabulous apartment

I just found out that we got the apartment on the second floor of the building we had looked at. I hadn't seen that particular apartment yet, so I headed over there yesterday to check it out while Katie was on a dinner date. I am now in love with 1601 York Ave #2B! It's a bit larger than the other ones we looked at and the people living there right now are TFA teachers finishing their first year. The girl I spoke with gave me all the details about the apartment and the neighborhood. I took a bunch of pictures with Katie's camera so I hope to get them up on the web soon.
After I take my certification exam this morning, I'll be meeting Katie to sign the lease. Our move in date is August 1 and it looks like we'll be able to buy some nice furniture from other people who are moving out of the building at the same time. Yahoo for finding an apartment!
